Finally finished! Christine Daae’s ‘black domino’ masquerade costume inspired by Leroux’s Phantom of the Opera. I finally managed to aquire and/or make all the props/accessories to this costume so that it is complete – the dress, underskirt, boots, crown, engagement ring, gloves, etc. Oh. My. Goodness. I’m actually rather proud of this piece, especially since it was my first time making a costume of my own design.

Really nicely done. True to Leroux but with Maria B's sensibilities! Love it!

Wow! As a costumer myself I say: AMAZING JOB! Did you make a corset to go with it? Or is that built in? Good job with the beading. I personally hate doing that, though I have. Good job. It takes a lot of patience to attach so many tiny things. :) :) :)

Thanks a lot! The boning is sewn in to the bodice. The beading was awfully tedious, but I watched a lot of movies while doing it :D
