Drawn on the way home from seeing Phantom in NYC last month, and inspired by Hugh Panaro and Trista Moldovan. Don't usually draw things like this...but, y'know... Will be posting my review from the trip soon...once I type it up. Getting there. It's only been over a month...

Done in colored pencil.

awn, this scene always makes my cry... :(
And hugh is a wonderful phantom ! I never watched him live, but I love his rendition of musical of the night and the rooftop !!
I adore the details on this, the shading on her dress is amazing ^-^

no problem at all !! And, hey, don't care about those peoples that said you copyed the drawing ! Final lair is a beautiful scene, and it deserves to be drawn !!

I know. I understand that art theft is a big issue, so I guess I don't entirely blame them TOO much.

OMG I saw Hugh Panaro too! Well like in last May, he was great and I love how he did the Final lair, and also you did great and for those people who think this is a copy of that other drawing then WTF? I mean this is a very memorable moment in the show so lots of people are bound to draw this same exact pose

He's fantastic! And when I tried to tell him he's officially one of my favorite Phantoms, he protested that "we're all different!" Such a sweetheart. And yes, I do think it's a tad ridiculous. It's no wonder that our drawings look similar, considering we drew the exact same moment of the show!

Twice, actually. ^^; I went to the stage door both before and after the show (we saw it on a tuesday, so there was only the evening show) so I was lucky enough to meet him both times. All of the actors I've ever met are always such wonderful and friendly people

I just love that most of them are willing to hang around and have an actual conversation with you, unlike Hollywood stars where you're lucky if they even so much as glance your way. I also have a lot more respect for theatre actors in general, since they're performing LIVE in front of an audience every night, with no 'take two' if something goes wrong. That takes a lot of guts and talent and hard work!
